Laura Rieben is an associate in the Toxic Torts and Industrial and Consumer Product Liability Practice Groups in the Philadelphia office of Lavin O’Neil Ricci Cedrone & DiSipio. She concentrates her practice on the automotive, industrial equipment, consumer products and construction products industries.
Ms. Rieben participates in the representation of varied consumer product manufacturers in complex product liability and toxic tort lawsuits.
Ms. Rieben is a 2009 graduate of Widener University School of Law in Wilmington, Delaware. While in law school, Ms. Rieben was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society and the Moe Levine Trial Advocacy Honor Society. During her participation with these honor societies, Ms. Rieben was awarded the New Member Competition Award for Outstanding Performance as well as being named a Finalist in the 2009 Hugh B. Pearce Trial Advocacy Competition. Ms. Rieben received her undergraduate degree in 2006 from Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where she graduated summa cum laude from the University Honors Program and received the Presidential Scholar Award. During college, Ms. Rieben was a teaching assistant at the Fox School of Business and worked as a Research Assistant in the Neuropsychology Department.
Ms. Rieben is admitted to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania state courts as well as the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. She is a member of the American Bar Association.
Personal
In her spare time, Ms. Rieben is an active volunteer and contributor to various national and local charities and foundations. She enjoys spending time with her rescue dogs and cooking. Ms. Rieben also enjoys martial arts, and she has a Black Belt in Shotokan karate.
